Our hallway is the main welcome our guests get when they first arrive. Well designed, and furnished to a high interior standard, this light, airy and warm space is a wonderful nucleus to the rest of home.
The top landing has a sofa which is an ideal viewing platform used for star gazing or watching the Hebridean Air planes land in the distance.

Our extensively equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area is a perfect place to sit, relax, cook and enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family.
With bread machine, Nespresso, Kenwood, crepe makers, to name a few, there is nothing our kitchen doesn’t have!
Our lounge area has a 55’’ tv and is fitted with Sky TV including full sports package.
There is also a full selection of books to escape or to increase your knowledge with a ‘take one replace one’ system for those that love to share.
Leading off the kitchen is a large utility room with freezer, wine cooler and extra storage space plus a separate drying room at the back of the house. A perfect space for drying clothes, dogs and wellies!
Our sitting room, with extensive glass, is one of the main rooms of the house taking in a 360 view of the island.
With patio doors on both sides, leading to the decking area, this room is a wonderful open space where you can watch the lambs during the spring season and enjoy the open space and BBQ area in the summer months.
During our winter breaks and retreats, this room comes into its own as our guests relax by the fire enjoying the ever-changing views in comfort.
Our five bedrooms have been designed to optimise the viewing potential.
The three main bedrooms are situated on the second floor, and all have Velux windows which maximise the light, and take in the extensive landscape and dark starry skies.
Two twin bedrooms are situated towards the back of the house on the ground floor. With three windows in each room, these rooms take in the views as well as being bright and airy.
All linen and towels are provided for your comfort and are 5 star hotel standard. Each of the rooms have wardrobes with plenty of space for hanging clothes and the top floor bedrooms have seating areas to enjoy the views.
Our largest main bedroom can accommodate 3-4 people and is suitable for families with young children.
The snug provides a perfect place to work with a mac computer and a desk for your comfort and ease.
It also creates a wonderful place for children to get away from their parents and sit in their own space on the Fat Boy bean bags while watching movies from our ever growing collection.
The Snug is situated towards the back of the house and provides a quiet space when needed and an excellent teenagers sanctuary!
Our large games room is home to a full-sized table tennis table and pool table along with Foosball, all designed around those winter breaks and rainy days.
It also has puzzles, games, Wii, a TV and plenty more books to choose from as well as seating for those wanting to spectate.
The Games room has plenty of space for musicians to practice, write and play and is also an ideal workshop space for those wanting to hold retreats, or corporate planning sessions.
Every room has its own unique, ever changing view.
Arrol house is a place where you find yourself losing time staring out the windows at the sea, the sheep in the fields beyond or at our resident Canadian geese!
The views from the upstairs bedrooms, kitchen and sitting room all have spectacular views of the sea, surrounding landscape and the sky at night. The two twin rooms down stairs share views of the landscape too and the first twin room also as views of the sea.
Coll is famous for its dark skies, Shooting stars are a pretty regular occurrence and from time to time our guests have seen the Northern lights from the house.
